2022 SAVE THE LAKE DAY!

Please join us for Save the Lake Day on Saturday, June 4, from 8:30AM until 12:30PM at the State Boat Launch on route 133 in Bridgewater, CT. This year we will return to the normal collection of man-made debris that has built up along the shoreline of Lake Lillinonah. Volunteers will meet at the route 133 boat launch in Bridgewater. Refreshments, gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Face masks are not required though you are welcome to wear them if you wish, of course. Wear shoes that can get very wet and have good traction in slippery conditions. Don’t forget to protect yourself from the sun by wearing sunscreen and hats (hoping for good weather!).

This is a great way to meet your neighbors, help the lake and enjoy a beautiful morning on the lake! If you haven’t tried it before, consider coming – it’s a lot more fun than it may appear…

If you can offer your pontoon boat to help shuttle volunteers, please contact us by email at info@friendsofthelake.org.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you then!
